John Head

John Head

John is the owner and principle podiatrist of Shepparton Foot Clinic. He purchased the business in November 1983 after completing a Bachelor of podiatry at Lincoln Institute (later La Trobe University) in Melbourne. John has since completed a Graduate Diploma of Podiatry in 1993 and a Masters of Health Sciences in 2002 at La Trobe University Melbourne on the topic of Bone Metabolism.

John attained a fellowship of the Australasian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine in 1996 and has been a sports podiatrist volunteer in the medical departments of the 2000 Sydney Olympics and the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games. He has also lectured extensively at Podiatry and Sports Medicine conferences on the topics of bone injury and foot pathology. John is endorsed to prescribe podiatrically approved medications including some antibiotics and antiinflammatories. John is highly qualified and skilled in most aspects of general podiatry and committed to providing the Goulburn Valley with top quality podiatry for a reasonable price.

Tracey O’Rourke

Tracey O’Rourke

Tracey grew up and completed her under-graduate studies (Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry)) in New Zealand. Since moving to Australia in 2001, she has completed her Masters of Health Science (Podiatry) at the University of South Australia.

Tracey has been living and working as a podiatrist in Shepparton for 12 years and has wide experience in all aspects of the profession. Tracey isrenowned around the Goulburn Valley as a very knowledgeable and caring practitioner.

Karla Ross

Karla Ross

Karla grew up in Corowa NSW and completed her Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) at Charles Sturt University. Karla began her career in Port Macquarie working within a busy private practice. Karla has been with the Shepparton Foot Clinic for 3 years and now enjoys being closer to family and friends.

Karla enjoys seeing and caring for all patient types and particularly enjoys working with biomechanical and sporting sides of podiatry as well as diabetic footcare, paediatrics and general footcare. Karla is one of a number of friendly, professional podiatrists at the Shepparton Foot clinic who aims to improve overall podiatric health.

Marni Gray

Marni Gray

Marni grew up in Finley NSW before moving to Albury to study at Charles Sturt University. Marni then went on to work in Melbourne and Albury in a sports podiatry focused role before moving back home and joining our team at Shepparton Foot Clinic.

Marni has a keen interest in biomechanics and sports podiatry, as well as paediatrics, diabetic foot care and geriatric care. Marni is a passionate and holistic practitioner who takes great joy in helping people of all ages achieve better health and mobility.

Bec

Bec Kennedy

Rebecca grew up in southern Queensland and then moved to Albury to study Podiatry at Charles Sturt University. Rebecca moved to the area to enjoy the relaxed country lifestyle that the Shepparton area has to offer. Rebecca is a new graduate and enjoys working in all aspects of Podiatry. She particularly enjoys working with people from rural areas and helping people improve their quality of life. Rebecca looks forward to continuing to broaden her scope of practice and keeping up to date with the latest research and technologies in the podiatry field.

Bec

Jade Tirpkou

Jade grew up in Melbourne where she completed a Master of Podiatric Practice at La Trobe University. Shortly after graduation, Jade moved to the Goulburn Valley to join the team at Shepparton Foot Clinic. Jade was a podiatrist volunteer at the 2016 Oxfam Trailwalker and looks forward to participation in more events like this. Jade enjoys working in all aspects of podiatry and is passionate about preventing diabetes related foot complications. Jade looks forward to continuing to broaden her scope of practice, particularly in the areas of musculoskeletal injuries and paediatrics.

Lauren Ellis

Lauren grew up in Melbourne and moved to north east Victoria where she completed her bachelor of podiatry in Albury at Charles sturt university. Lauren joined the Shepparton Foot Clinic shortly after graduating and currently lives in Benalla. She is passionate about rural health care, high risk and geriatric foot care and biomechanics. Lauren is keen to continue furtheringoh her knowledge and skills as a podiatrist as well as contributing to improving foot health in regional Victoria.
